Sitting on the sunny hills of Southern California, this residence encapsulates elegance and functionality with warm contemporary elements throughout its spaces.
Its interiors take in the abundant natural light which caresses the warm hues of the walnut furniture. This veneer is the absolute protagonist throughout the house. An ample foyer closet made entirely in walnut preludes to the adjacent kitchen, which stands majestically between the living area and the dining space. The kitchen lays out base cabinets and tall units in the same walnut, as well as a wine unit and a discreet side storage cabinet for glassware. The bright walnut fronts and snack table are interrupted only by the backsplash and countertop surfaces in honed Calacatta marble, and a row of upper cabinets in satin stainless steel that integrate the hood.
Both the master and guest bathrooms feature minimalist walnut vanities, complemented in the master bathroom by two custom tri-view medicine cabinets with integrated LED lighting.
The master closet in faux wood is a hidden gem that sets itself apart from the rest of the house. It was custom designed to integrate shelves in glass with LED lights, hanging rods, chests of drawers and shoe shelves to respond to the owners’ specific needs.
